Community Town Hall Meeting
What: The Wilkes-Barre Veterans Affairs Medical Center is hosting a town hall for Veterans, family members and the public to provide feedback on VA operations and recommendations for VA programs. Employees will be on hand to assist Veterans with filing and status of claims and other benefits services.
This is a Public Meeting and Media are encouraged to attend.

Background: The town halls are two of many VA is holding around the country. The meetings are intended to provide local Veterans an open forum and for VA officials to hear directly from beneficiaries as a step toward improvement and to rebuild trust among Veterans.
The meeting is open to the public and the media, and VA is inviting Congressional/Senatorial Stakeholders, Veteran Service Organizations, Non-Governmental Organizations, and other community partners.
